Matthew Weatherly began his roofing career in 2001 with Right Roofing as a residential roof laborer. Two years later, Weatherly graduated from Grandview Park Baptist High School and continued working for Right Roofing as a shingle applicator. In 2005, he transitioned into the commercial roofing industry working as a service technician for Wood Roofing Company in Des Moines, Iowa. While pioneering the roofing industry, Weatherly simultaneously excelled as a student-athlete at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa. There, he was honored as a two-time captain of his NCCAA basketball team. In 2010, Weatherly graduated with a degree in Biblical Counseling, but moved deeper into the realm of roofing when Wood Roofing Co. promoted him to a project management/sales position. As such, he managed production roofing projects, sheet metal projects, and sold repair work for Wood Roofing’s service division. In April 2011, he surged into outside sales with ABC Supply, where his focus centered on selling residential and commercial roofing products to contractors in Des Moines and surrounding markets. Within a year, Weatherly had reached the top of the ranks, becoming the #1 sales representative at the ABC Supply Des Moines location in sales volume and gross profit. Then, in the spring of 2013, he became the youngest member on the Luna & Associates team where he currently serves as an independent sales representative offering products from Carlisle Syntec and Metal-Era to the state of Nebraska.

Chris Swanson was born and raised in Central Kansas. The oldest of four and the son of a Police Officer, he always found himself with a hammer or sheet of drywall in his hands as he helped family and friends with all sorts of different remodeling projects. After attending the University of Kansas, he entered the construction world as a Sales Rep for Nebraska Furniture Mart. There he worked with local Kansas City home builders and remodeling companies, specifically in carpet, tile and hardwood floors, and granite counter tops. He also worked for Pella Windows for 2 years, helping local window and siding companies not only improve their installations, but also with their approach to the marketplace. He always had his eye on the world of commercial construction during that time.
Before coming on board at Luna and Associates in April of 2018, Chris spent 6 years at Goedecke – a local commercial materials distributor. There he has worked on numerous commercial projects in various fields – concrete forming, rebar fabrication, caulking, water repellents, and concrete repair – just to name a few. During this time he became an expert in air barriers and waterproofing. Some of the buildings in Kansas City he has worked on are Overland One, 3435 Main, the new Burns and McDonald building, the Church of the Resurrection, and the new Cerner campus, among many others. He has also helped restore a number of historical buildings and garages in downtown KC. Greg Luna began his career in the commercial roofing business with Lucas Sales Co., a rep/distribution company based in St. Louis, Missouri. He first entered the industry in 1977 as a warehouse and production worker. Within the span of two years, he raced up the corporate ladder into an outside sales position and became sales manager soon afterward. By 1999, he was General Manager of the company. Rob Mulaney is originally from Beaver Springs, Pennsylvania, and has been involved in the commercial construction industry since 1997. After serving in the US Army, Mulaney returned home to join the PA National Guard and attend Millersville University. For his entire collegiate career, he ran Cross Country and Track & Field for their NCAA Division II program. Upon graduating, he dove headfirst into the commercial construction industry as a Technical Representative with Carlisle Syntec, a commercial roofing manufacturer based in Carlisle, PA. In 2005, Mulaney left Carlisle SynTec to work for Group4 Materials, an independent manufacturer’s representative and commercial roofing distributor. While there, he focused on low slope commercial roofing, and he was also responsible for promoting and servicing product lines that ranged from metal roofing, clay tiles, metal edging, and spray foam products. GulfEagle Supply purchased Group4 Materials in 2007 and Mulaney remained with that company until 2011, when he partnered with Greg Luna and Denise Shibley to create Luna & Associates. Under the banner of the Luna & Associates organization, he is responsible for serving the needs of architects, consultants, distributors, building owners, and installers in the states of Iowa, Illinois, and Nebraska.
