All data that is compiled in the RoofSense program is gathered from independent sources, such as the United States Department of Energy and the building owner’s utility bills, ensuring premium, non-biased accuracy. With RoofSense, building owners can compare and contrast the energy savings of a wide variety of roofing systems, including membranes and insulation, for project locations in every zip code in the United States. RoofSense can calculate the optimal R-value and membrane color based on location and energy costs, and even calculates the owner’s overall return on investment related to roof expenditures.
