To start off 2015, Carlisle has announced a new “Elite” 40-year Material Warranty. This 40-year Material Warranty is non-prorated and sells for a minimal fee.

This warranty is sold separately from the Total System Warranty. The Elite Warranty warrants to the Buyer that the Sure-Seal 90-mil EPDM membrane material (Membrane) sold to the Buyer will be free from manufacturing defects at the time of its delivery to the job site.

If upon inspection by Carlisle, the Membrane material will not prematurely deteriorate to the point of failure because of weathering for a period of 40 years from the date of sale if properly installed, maintained and used for the purpose for which Carlisle intended.

If the Buyer feels that the material is defective, Carlisle will schedule an inspection. If the Membrane shows premature deterioration because of weathering within the 40-year period, Carlisle will either repair the material for the original Membrane or credit to be applied towards the purchase of a new Membrane.

This warranty refers to the Membrane material only. Not flashings, adhesives and other accessories contained in a membrane roofing system are not covered by this warranty.
